Vic: One woman dies, several injured in relatively quiet NYE
One woman died and several people have been critically injured during what police say
has been a relatively trouble-free New Year's Eve across Australia.
Police say crowds had been generally well-behaved but a shooting incident in Perth
has left a 25-year-old woman dead and a 31-year-old man critically wounded.
Perth Sergeant GRAHAM CLIFFORD says police have not ruled out a murder suicide attempt.
He says thousands of people had gathered in Kings Park for a light show when the shooting
