Three men are facing charges for alleged crimes relating to theabuse of children, police said.
Robert Paul Kellenberger, 21, of the 400 block of South MainStreet, Manheim, was charged Wednesday with having inappropriatecontact with a 14-year-old girl, Penn Township police said.
Investigators said the incident occurred at Kellenberger's homein January 2010.
He is charged with statutory sexual assault, unlawful contactwith a minor and corruption of minors, police said.
Kellenberger was arraigned by District Judge Thomas Fee andreleased on $50,000 unsecured bail, police said. A preliminaryhearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. April 1.
In separate incidents, state police Wednesday charged two menwith possessing child pornography on their home computers.
John James Dehaven, 44, of 22 Evans Drive, Quarryville, wascharged with 29 counts of sexual abuse of children after he sharedphotos online of a child engaged in a sexual act, state police said.
Gene Harl Wilson, 42, of 220 Kinseyville Road, Nottingham, wascharged with six counts of sexual abuse of children after sharing amovie online depicting similar material, investigators said.
State police said the two cases aren't related.
The materials were discovered in October and November duringonline investigations seeking out individuals distributing childporn, state police said. The investigations were conducted by statepolice and Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, a nationalgroup that targets online exploitation of children. After viewingthe materials online, investigators obtained search warrants andconfiscated the personal computers of Dehaven and Wilson, accordingto state police.
Through forensic examinations of the computers, investigatorsrecovered images and movie files depicting child porn, police said.Charges for both men are third-degree felonies, state police said.
