Patriots are still expected to rule; New England keeps eye on one game at time.(Sports)

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - It has certainly been a dominant decade for the New England Patriots.

Three Super Bowl championships, two coach of the year awards, and the only 16-0 regular season in NFL history. Now they're expected to keep winning throughout the playoffs, no matter how much they insist their past brilliance doesn't matter.

And they know it's not easy. Last January, the Patriots coughed up an 18-point lead to Indianapolis in the AFC championship game. The previous January, they didn't even make it that far. And now, a perfect record might be just a prelude to more disappointment.
