SA: Motorcyclist dies of his injuries after March accident
ADELAIDE, April 26 AAP - A 35-year-old man has died in hospital after a road accident
on SA's Yorke Peninsula almost four weeks ago.
A police spokeswoman said the man, from Moonta, was the driver of a motorcycle that
collided with a van at Wallaroo on March 30.
"He's been in intensive care at the Royal Adelaide Hospital since the collision and
passed away this morning," she said on Sunday.
The death takes the state's road toll to 38, eight more than at this time last year.
A 27-year-old Woodcroft man died earlier Sunday after the car he was a passenger in
crashed into a tree in Adelaide's south.
Police said the fatal crash occurred just after 1am (CST) on Chandlers Hill Road at Happy Valley.
"The driver of the vehicle, a man from Aberfoyle Park, was conveyed to the Flinders
Medical Centre in a critical condition," police said.
